ATK was awarded up-arming and retrofit contract for LAF AC208B

Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) was awarded a contract on February 19, 2015 to up-arm and retrofit Cessna Caravan AC-208B as part of Lebanon's Caravan program (Ref).

This is most likely related to the current unarmed Cessna AC-208B being operated by the Lebanese Air Force along to another armed one.

    Godd news, but what about russian Mi-24 deal? Is this deal still negotiated?

      No info about the Mil Mi-24. In fact LAF Digest (Unofficial) prefers if Mi-24 deal doesn't see light because those offered are an old model and they will create a logistical, training, and maintenance problem anyway given that we are already operating aircraft from at least 2 different manufacturing countries.
      We hope to see the OH-58 Kiowa soon, though nothing is clear.

      The OH-58D Kiowa got more advanced technology than the __offered__ Mil Mi-24.
